Parking in Egypt is really hard, and that's why it is normal to see people reserving places in the streets for their cars by planting a metal rods, or leaving some rocks in the street to reserve it. But this Petroleum Company in Maady decided to put dozens of signs in the streets with the names of every single manager there in order to reserve a parking place for his car.

Ahawy

As a Muslim country, people here rarely drink alcohol and Cafes (Ahawy) are considered the Egyptian alternative to Bars. Smoking Shisha, drinking Tea, and playing Domino or watching TV are the most common activities people do in Cafes.

Egyptians always build Mosques and Churches next to each other.
